Today is brought to you by the number 1...
1 ah ah ah, That's right, Little Miss Berklee turned the big 1 today! We can't believe that a year has gone by with our little princess! She is the biggest sweetheart and such a joy. She seriously brings a smile a hundred times an hour! We waited so long to have here and were kind of worried about her when she finally made her GRAND entrance 5 weeks early, but she sure has made up for it. I love watching her and Kyle play :) Kyle is the best Daddy to her and she definately loves him to pieces. She is such a Daddy's girl and she also has Daddy wrapped really tight around her small finger. Most parents get to prepare in the last month of pregnancy but Kyle and I got a week. I certainly wouldn't have it any other way. She was so small and so precious, I was thankful that she chose me to be her Mommy. I love having her and being a Mom. Oh how babies change within a year and us as parents change too! She has started to say a few words and they melt my heart everytime. She says " Hi Daddy!" everytime she see's Kyle. How could you ever get mad at that? Sorry no pictures this time. We had a little mishap so the pictures aren't in our possesion at this time. Shortly I will post. Happy 1st Birthday Berklee!
My Sweet Berklee,
I can't tell you enough how many times I love you in a day. I know you hate my kisses but I gotta get them in as much as possible! You are such a ray of sunshine to your Daddy and I. WE are so thankful for you everyday and couldn't imagine our lives without you. We are so proud of all your accomplishments in your life this far. You had to overcome a lot of obstacles in your little life and you've done it like a champ! You are so sweet and loving. I love being your Mommy!

THANKSGIVING!!!
This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family. We are usually with Kyle's family every year whom I love, but when my mom hosts' it, it is a special occasion because it doesn't happen very often. This year's reasoning my adorable cousin Katie is going on a mission in a couple weeks so this will be her last one with the family for awhile and my mom bought a new house! We actually ended up having it at our clubhouse because it's easier clean up for EVERYONE and don't have to worry about little kids wrecking anything. Also this year is Berklee's 1st Thankgiving! Last year I was in the hospital in labor with her, so it was nice to be with family this year. She loved all the yummy food and playing with her cousins! Later we went to Kyle's side of the family and ate dessert. We also brought our WII down so we could play the new Super mario brothers. I didn't get any pictures but we still have fun!

Here is everyone from 2 angles

Katie needed the ENTIRE bowl of fruit salad!

Here's the Birthday Girl! Grace turned 3, and she was singing Happy Birthday to ME! throughout dinner. She is so freakin' cute! I have the cutest nieces and nephews... Definately no battle!

Little Miss Berklee

My cute little Missionary
I have so many things that I am thankful for in my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ and the knowledge that it gives me. Also my wonderful loving husband. Heavenly Father definately knew what he was doing when he let us find each other. He has been the best thing in my life and does so many things for me. For Berklee, my little sunshine! I am so thankful that she is healthy and strong. She is such a trooper to have the parents she does. She makes my days brighter! For all of my family. My brothers. Even though they may not think so, they have been amazing examples in my life in many ways. Not many sister's with NO SISTERS can say that they have as good as a relationship as I do with my brothers. I'm thankful for all their protection thru the years. They are my knights in shining amor. My parents for everything they have taught me. To not judge and be kind and loving to everyone. My in-law family. I honestly couldn't ask for better in-laws. I am the Luckiest girl to have them and to have them treat me like one of thier own. For my house, my job, my cars, and can't forget FOOD! My list could probably go on for awhile but I guess I'll end there. I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear Mr. Giraffe,
You are my favorite toy! I pick you up every day during shower time. I don't waste anytime trying to find you because I spot you right off the bat. Nevermind all my other real bath toys that surround me,and that mommy and daddy step on in the shower as well. They definately are not as fun as you. You are the BEST! I love to bite you, crawl with you, and even get dried off with you. I'm so glad I have a bathtime buddy! and I'm glad I get to say goodbye to you every day, then see you the next. Thanks again for being my bath buddy!
Love,
Berklee

Scaredy Cat
Berklee is the BIGGEST scaredy cat ever! Kyle and I will just be doing random things and for whatever they scare her! examples...
- When I blow my nose I have to go some where that she can't hear me or else she starts bawling
- When I burp, not when Kyle does since he burps in her face or ear all the time. I guess Mom just isn't supposed to do that?
- Kyle was blowing runts in the air last night and she was watching him do it. He only had to do it for a second and she started crying.
- The Drill. We got some new furniture for our living room and Kyle had to use the drill. She would freak out everytime he turned it on!
- When you make the kissy noise. I even have video of it but you can't really tell what's going on.
That is all I can think of for now, possibly a later post eventually. She seems to amaze me every day at the stuff that scares her. Gotta love GIRLS!

Halloween
So this is kinda late, but I just like to assume that people care how are lives are and will post about it. I get to dress up every year for work and absolutely love it! It's one of the few days a year that I get to wear something else besides my work uniform, and with Halloween it's also the one day a year you have an excuse to be ugly. With that said, I so had to jump at the opportunity! Kyle didn't dress up but little Miss Berklee did! We were so excited to buy her a Halloween costume for her. I think dressing your kids up is way more fun than yourself. She was a cheetah or leopard, not quite sure what animal, but a super cute one at that! My favorite part of her costume was her detachable tale. Unfortuately we didn't get any pictures of it :(

I loved my costume this year! I got it when Court and I went to St. George at Rue 21. I had a lot of customers tell me that they actually had real outfits like that back in the day. I also had a few take it kind of offensive because they really did look like that! I told them that I got it at a normal store so it's actually back in style. Who knew that you would be able to find such a hidieous costume for under $20 at a normal store? I got a lot of compliments, especially on my makeup! It was the coolest stuff. You rub it on and all the colors were already in the order and super ugly. My costume couldn't have been better! and of couse Kyle was a little festive with his orange shirt.

We took Berklee trick or treating to one house. It was Kyle's parent's Bishop's house. She picked a sucker and we let her eat it. She was in LOVE! It was the cutest thing, she would share with Kyle and when she thought he was done she would take it away. She was so sticky, but it was so worth it since it was her first Halloween!

Hope you all had a fun Halloween!

Pumpkin Carving
Every year we carve pumpkins at Kyle's parents and take a very famous year round picture. This year was Little Miss Berklee's first Halloween! We bought a pumpkin just for her! There isn't much to say about carving pumpkins so I guess it's Here to MORE PICTURES!

Can you guess which pumpkin is Berklee's? It is always a lot of fun carving pumpkins and I'm really glad Kyle's family does it every year! We let Berklee play with the pumpkin goo and she wasn't to sure about it. I love being able to spend the Holidays with family and I am excited that we have Berklee to share them with now!

PUNKINAZE
There is a little cornmaze down the street from our house. We decided to go on a family outing :) It was sort of cold so we finally got to use the little carseat cover that we got for a babyshower gift. I was so excited to FINALLY go do something "halloweenish". They had this fun little slide for little kids (or big kids helping thier little kids.) We took Berklee down it to try and get the perfect picture but we didn't do a very good job. Luckily the maze was pretty cheap because it was really trompled and ten million kids running around so it wasn't very fun. Anyway here are some pictures!

St. George
I finally got to go to St. George! I have never been there... ever, just in passing and once Kyle and I stayed overnight after leaving late to go to Cali. My Best Friend Courtney asked me if I wanted to go with her a couple months ago because our husbands are AWESOME and were planning on going to the Starwars Concert. Anyway after a long wait for the weekend to finally come off we went!
We left a little later then planned but were still excited to go! We ended up hitting construction and were only going 2.2 miles per hour! Berklee was so good the entire time driving, she slept pretty much the entire way! We pulled off in Beaver to eat lunch at Wendy's. I seriously have never had to wait that long in a Wendy's in my whole life! After lunch off we went.... but not to far because as Court and I were chatting away a hidden highway patrol decided to pull us over! We were just laughing because honestly Courtney wasn't paying attention to her speed and was just chatting away. We definately did not have one dull moment because we are both just that cool :) Eventually we got to the beautiful St. George! We stayed at the Abbey Inn ( would definately stay there again and again). Immediately we went and got pedicures! YAY!!! We called around to a few places and decided on a cute little place called Kiss & Makeup. They called a couple girls in just to do our pedicures! That is the best customer service. A plus, the girls weren't even mad that they had to come in and we super nice.

After pedicures we went shopping, what else do you do on a girls weekend? On our shopping adventures we found the fabulous resturant The Brick Oven! Can I just say DELISH!!! I've only eaten there a few time but everytime it gets me. So we got seated, ordered our stuff and waited.... I was feeding Berklee her puffies and she was eating them like mad! She kept shoving them in her mouth one right after another and all of a sudden BLEH! All over the table, floor, her. Let me remind you we are still waiting for our food, our waitress comes by and see's that I'm cleaning up throw up so she sends a guy to with a rag to clean up the rest. Court and I were so tired because it was 9 pm, I had worked the night before and woke up early, Court of course had been driving so all we could do was... LAUGH! We were laughing so hard we were crying. Finally after our stomaches hurt so bad we got our food. It was too late to eat so we ended up just taking it with us and went nighty night.

The next day we woke up ate breakfast and came back to our room and took a nap. It was amazing! Berklee hadn't slept well that night so of course neither did we so a nap was definately on our agenda. After we woke up we did some more shopping. We went and ate an early dinner because we were going to go see Annie that night at Tuacan. We went to one of the best Mexican food places I have ever had. Everyone should go there in thier life times.. the name Paula's. So yummy! After that off to Tuacan!

The play was so cute and the drive to Tuacan was gorgeous! An old man sitting next to us told me how cute Berklee was then asked if she was going to cry during the play! That made me so mad! But since she is an angel she hardly even made a peep and eventually went to sleep. After the play Court and I went driving around the city. We went up to makeout point to see the city lights, the temple and just drove around. The airport is right next to the point so planes were flying right above our heads super close.

The next day we sadly had to go home, but not until we had a few more adventures. We went to Brigham Young's house, which I thought was really neat and to the wonderful In n Out Burger!

Then Bon Voyage St. George.. I will come visit again!
