Crazy Hair, My little Ballerina, and Same size as a doll!

Berklee was having an awesome hair day. It looked like Ace Ventura when he is in the mental institute. These pictures don't do it justice, but Kyle and I were laughing so hard!

We randomly take pictures of our Princess hence the reason of this one. She is in a little Ballet sleeper. Any of you that know me know that I have danced my whole life, so she will be doing the same!

She is the same size as this little doll. Sometimes it doesn't even seem real because she is so tiny! What an adorable little girl!

Bringing Home Baby Pics

I'm so little for my car seat! This is a really close up picture of her so it looks like she fits perfectly, but in all reality she is so tiny compared to it!
Yay! No more hospital! We were so excited to finally bring her home! It was snowing so we couldn't take a picture outside. That is kinda a tradition in my family, but I thought this one was good enough.

Princess Berklee all bundled and ready to go home!

Finally my own clothes! We were so excited to finally put her in her own things! This outfit is a premie and it's huge! The pants fit her like Steve Urkel(spelling?)

Home Sweet Home

Berklee finally got to come home on Monday! We are and were so excited. I have never been so worn out. I don't get why they tell you to rest, but then you have to go up to the hospital every 2 and 1/2 hours for feedings! I guess we could have just skipped them, but I hate pumping and of course wanted to see my baby. It was a rough 10 days, but we made it thru. I had such a hard time and obviously couldn't wait for her to come home. We have pictures of her first car ride and leaving the hospital that we will post soon. On monday the hospital called me at 7 am! They told me they got doctor's orders to discharge Berklee! YAY! The phone call we had been waiting for... One problem, Kyle didn't get off work until 2:30. So I slept in, went to her afternoon feeding, ran some errands, then met Kyle at home to go pick up our little Bundle of Joy. I don't think that either on of us really listened to the nurses cause we were to excited to dress her in HER clothes and run out of there ASAP cause we were so sick of the place! Anyway, all is going well, she is such an angel! I love staying home with her and already don't want to go back to work. She has been keeping her temp up, her jaundice is gone, and only chokes once a day! We will have more updates soon! Thanks to everyone that has been supporting us and who has been just as worried as us! We love all of you!

Berklee Update!

Ok before I update I will tell the story of my labor... I went into the Dr. on Monday the 24th and was dilated to a 5! The Dr. asked me if I had felt any contractions and I hadn't. I had worked the day and night before, a 9 hour shift, then that same day for 8 hours. I will admit now after looking back that I was having some labor cause my back was hurting so bad! I just thought it was because I had worked to long shifts right in a row and when you are standing in a checkstand your back hurts all the time. Anyway, he sent me over to Labor and Delivery. I was on strict Bedrest. I couldn't even get up to use the toilet... I had to use a bedpan! Poor Kyle, he really showed me true love these past couple weeks. I have the most wonderful Husband anyone (or just me) could ask for. Monday night I was having contractions and still wasn't feeling anything. So since I was only 34 weeks and a 5 days they gave me some medication to stop them. On tues I got checked again and I was dilated to a 6! Wednesday I was finally allowed to get out of bed cause I was finally 35 weeks. The Dr.'s that were watching me were pretty much waiting for my Dr. to come back in town. Well as everyone knows, Thurs. was Thanksgiving... Not all that fun to spend holiday's in the hospital. Again, Kyle was and is such an amazing husband he didn't leave me at all! Even though his family was having a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, he wanted to stay with me. Finally Friday came and my actual Doctor was back in town. She came in and checked me, I was dilated to an 8! Still NO pain... so 9:30 am she broke my water! Yikes we were about to become parents! At 12:20 pm Princess Berklee Autumn Craig was born! 4lbs 15.2 oz 18 and 1/2 inches. What a beautiful baby... Ok now the update.

Berklee has been in the NICU since saturday the 29th. I have had a really hard time with her not being home. At first she couldn't keep her temperature up since she was so early and so little. She has finally overcome that issue in her short life so far. Her problem now is that she gets so excited to eat that she forgets to breathe! Her heartrate drops and that's really bad. Today the Dr. finally gave us a number of days till she gets to come home. So in 2-3 days we get to have our Princess here and no more trips to the hospital! YAY! Kyle and I can't wait! Anyway, we are so excited and blessed that she is here. Very Healthy and so Beautiful! She is such a blessing already in our lives and so loved! She truelly is our Little Princess!
