Sunday Fun!

Sunday evening we got invited to our friends Greg and Jessica's. We had yummy fajitas and such a blast!
The girls played Rockband.. It's super hard!

We were sort of perfecting it.. haha

And the guys played World of Warcraft. This is Greg's character.

So serious........

Berklee was having a blast too, as you can see. She was awake for a little bit and super sad, then she fell asleep. That is definately the joy's of parenthood :)

The Girls!! Corrrie, Jessica, and me! It is so nice to have a few friends that live close and all the guys get along(thru gaming) and all of us girls have tons of fun! Thanks again guys!

Valentine pics soon to come..

Beautiful Baby

On Wednesday last week it was Emily's(Kyle's sis) birthday. We all went to Texas Road House for dinner. While we were sitting there an older lady came up and said "Can I see your baby?" So I turned Berklee toward her so she could see her face. The rest of the convo goes as follows...
V-"Sure!" (the lady then puts her hands sorta around Berklee)
Lady-" How old is she?"
V-" 2 months."
Lady-" I was watching her the whole time I was eating. She is just beautiful! and so tiny!"
V- "Thanks!"
Lady-"Oh she is just cute, beautiful"
There were a few more things said then she left. About 10 or so minutes later another women comes up to me again...
Lady-" How big was your baby when she was born?"
V-" Almost 5 lbs"
Lady-" Oh my son was that big too when he was born and now he is 6 ft tall and only 14!"
V and everyone else at the table-"Wow! yeah she is just a peanut"
Lady- " How old is she now?"
V- " 2 months"
Lady-" Well she is so cute, absolutely beautiful!"
V- " Thanks!"
Lady-" Enjoy her while she is little cause it goes by so fast! Take care and good luck!"
Right after that lady walked away another one approached Kyle...
Lady-" How old is your baby? She is just beautiful!"
K-" 2 months and thanks!"
Lady-" Do you need me to hold her while you eat?"
K-" No, my mommy cut my steak for me"
Lady-" Oh like a big boy!"
We then all laughed and of course when she was leaving once again she said " Well she is just so beautiful! Take care!"

It certainly makes you feel really good when other people tell you how cute your baby is! It lets you know that everything you go thru to get them here is all worth it if they can put a smile on anyone's faces!

Chuck 3D

We absolutely love watching the show Chuck. For anyone who hasn't seen it we definately recommend it. Kyle and I watch it every monday night for our family night activity. Well today they were doing a 3D special. We decided to be a little creative with our glasses! Enjoy!

Not quite on
Getting closer
Perfect! She is going to hate us when she is older. We couldn't stop laughing, because she is just so dang cute!

2 month pictures

We got Berklee's 2 month pictures taken. They turned out absolutely amazing! The photographer is wonderful. She came to our house, was very professional, took her time so she could get good shots and deal with Berklee crying and just being a baby in general. If you want to see some of the pictures go to Rachaeltylerphotography.blogspot.com. I would definately recommend her to anyone that want beautiful pictures taken at an awesome price. Thanks again Rach!

Ye Lions Den

Who doesn't love Medieval Times? We do and especially the resturant called Ye Lions Den. The food is so good even though it's pretty pricey. We had a blast on friday going on a date with our best friends Adam and Courtney. Here are some pictures and of course Berklee loved it too!

Robin Hood( at least that is what I think)

Berklee was thrilled to be there and having Courtney hold her!

Update

We absolutely loved our Christmas Holiday. It was so nice not working and actually being able to enjoy it, especially with our new little package. I loved having Kyle's sister, brother-in-law, and nephew here as well. We really miss spending time with them! Now of course an update on Berklee!

She is doing so good and growing every day. She is still little but not as little as before. She is officially in Newborn diapers. I have been sick for over a week now and unfortunately Berklee has caught it too! I took her to the Dr. yesterday to make sure it wasn't anything serious. She weighs 7 lbs! What a little chunker! She is so adorable and I still can't believe that she is mine. Kyle and I love being parents so such a good little baby. Here are some more updated pictures! Enjoy!

Christmas Holiday

Here's Rykker!
Mom and Dad's Best Christmas Present ever!

This is my niece Kinlee. She is so adorable and Kyle's favorite. She was singing and dancing with this Hannah Montana guitar to "The Best of Both Worlds". She knows all the words and she is only 3!

and of course our little Princess Berklee!

The Fam! This is Kyle's side of the family. Valisa, Berklee, Kyle, Kellen, Mindy, Rykker, Emily, Dad, Mom... at the movies.

December and Stuff

Ok finally and update.. I know. The pictures are in the wrong order. So start from the bottom. Although, this pic of Berklee was taken on Christmas evening. She was mine and Kyle's Christmas present this year. She is in her stocking! That is what santa brought us to fill her stocking with.
And I got a sewing machine! I was so excited because I told Kyle I wanted my rocking chair. Well he thought that I needed something nice for myself instead. I've been saying that I've been wanting a sewing machine for quite sometime... and now I have one! It's been so fun to use and to make stuff. I didn't get to play with it for a while because we were constantly doing things away from home, but thankfully I got sick and was able to stay home to figure it out.

This is Christmas Day. We took all our presents down to Kyle's parents. Kyle got Guitar Hero a few weeks earlier as his big present from Santa. His parents gave him this tripod which he is so excited to use with his new camera!

Here is a picture of Kyle and his sisters. His sister Mindy and her husband got to come home from Iowa for Christmas. It was so fun to have them here and to play with thier little boy ( our nephew Rykker.)

Merry Christmas! This is the picture that went on our Christmas card. Kyle got a really nice camera for graduation so we decided to take our own pics. So for those of you that didn't get a Christmas card here ya go!

Crazy Hair, My little Ballerina, and Same size as a doll!

Berklee was having an awesome hair day. It looked like Ace Ventura when he is in the mental institute. These pictures don't do it justice, but Kyle and I were laughing so hard!

We randomly take pictures of our Princess hence the reason of this one. She is in a little Ballet sleeper. Any of you that know me know that I have danced my whole life, so she will be doing the same!

She is the same size as this little doll. Sometimes it doesn't even seem real because she is so tiny! What an adorable little girl!

Bringing Home Baby Pics

I'm so little for my car seat! This is a really close up picture of her so it looks like she fits perfectly, but in all reality she is so tiny compared to it!
Yay! No more hospital! We were so excited to finally bring her home! It was snowing so we couldn't take a picture outside. That is kinda a tradition in my family, but I thought this one was good enough.

Princess Berklee all bundled and ready to go home!

Finally my own clothes! We were so excited to finally put her in her own things! This outfit is a premie and it's huge! The pants fit her like Steve Urkel(spelling?)

Home Sweet Home

Berklee finally got to come home on Monday! We are and were so excited. I have never been so worn out. I don't get why they tell you to rest, but then you have to go up to the hospital every 2 and 1/2 hours for feedings! I guess we could have just skipped them, but I hate pumping and of course wanted to see my baby. It was a rough 10 days, but we made it thru. I had such a hard time and obviously couldn't wait for her to come home. We have pictures of her first car ride and leaving the hospital that we will post soon. On monday the hospital called me at 7 am! They told me they got doctor's orders to discharge Berklee! YAY! The phone call we had been waiting for... One problem, Kyle didn't get off work until 2:30. So I slept in, went to her afternoon feeding, ran some errands, then met Kyle at home to go pick up our little Bundle of Joy. I don't think that either on of us really listened to the nurses cause we were to excited to dress her in HER clothes and run out of there ASAP cause we were so sick of the place! Anyway, all is going well, she is such an angel! I love staying home with her and already don't want to go back to work. She has been keeping her temp up, her jaundice is gone, and only chokes once a day! We will have more updates soon! Thanks to everyone that has been supporting us and who has been just as worried as us! We love all of you!

Berklee Update!

Ok before I update I will tell the story of my labor... I went into the Dr. on Monday the 24th and was dilated to a 5! The Dr. asked me if I had felt any contractions and I hadn't. I had worked the day and night before, a 9 hour shift, then that same day for 8 hours. I will admit now after looking back that I was having some labor cause my back was hurting so bad! I just thought it was because I had worked to long shifts right in a row and when you are standing in a checkstand your back hurts all the time. Anyway, he sent me over to Labor and Delivery. I was on strict Bedrest. I couldn't even get up to use the toilet... I had to use a bedpan! Poor Kyle, he really showed me true love these past couple weeks. I have the most wonderful Husband anyone (or just me) could ask for. Monday night I was having contractions and still wasn't feeling anything. So since I was only 34 weeks and a 5 days they gave me some medication to stop them. On tues I got checked again and I was dilated to a 6! Wednesday I was finally allowed to get out of bed cause I was finally 35 weeks. The Dr.'s that were watching me were pretty much waiting for my Dr. to come back in town. Well as everyone knows, Thurs. was Thanksgiving... Not all that fun to spend holiday's in the hospital. Again, Kyle was and is such an amazing husband he didn't leave me at all! Even though his family was having a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner, he wanted to stay with me. Finally Friday came and my actual Doctor was back in town. She came in and checked me, I was dilated to an 8! Still NO pain... so 9:30 am she broke my water! Yikes we were about to become parents! At 12:20 pm Princess Berklee Autumn Craig was born! 4lbs 15.2 oz 18 and 1/2 inches. What a beautiful baby... Ok now the update.

Berklee has been in the NICU since saturday the 29th. I have had a really hard time with her not being home. At first she couldn't keep her temperature up since she was so early and so little. She has finally overcome that issue in her short life so far. Her problem now is that she gets so excited to eat that she forgets to breathe! Her heartrate drops and that's really bad. Today the Dr. finally gave us a number of days till she gets to come home. So in 2-3 days we get to have our Princess here and no more trips to the hospital! YAY! Kyle and I can't wait! Anyway, we are so excited and blessed that she is here. Very Healthy and so Beautiful! She is such a blessing already in our lives and so loved! She truelly is our Little Princess!

Update time!

Here is our update for the week... Kyle's finger looks great! He is now down to just wearing a bandaid. He got 5 stitches, and probably could have had 2 more. The swelling has gone down on the cut and it looks really good! It totally freaked me out that he was hurt cause nothing ever happens to him. Even though it was his finger I felt like someone ripped my heart out and was stomping on it! It was one of the worst feelings I have ever had. I think I was worse off than him although I tried to play it calm. At the end of the day and the next day I was more worn out than him! I'm blaming it on the pregnancy since I am 34 weeks along and that was just to much stress for me to handle! AHHH! Now update on the peanut...

My doctor went out of town for two weeks so I am seeing another doctor. At my last appt. with her on wednesday last week these were her instructions- Go to Davis Hospital to get a baby stress test, Monday see Dr. Hall, Thurs back to the Hospital, Monday back to the Dr., Friday back to the Hospital, and finally Tues back to my regualr Dr. Why all these appts you ask? Come to find out it's all because of my blood pressure. She is wanting me to be monitored which is so good! My BP has been totally fine so I am sorta confused. Today was the first time it was high and I know that it usually gets higher in the last couple months of pregnancy. Anyway, the baby is fine which is the most important thing! We are getting so anxious for her to come! When we went to the Dr. on Monday we got to have an ultrasound too! It was so cute! It was the second time we got to see her face and she has my nose. She is head down all the way and just waiting to finish baking! Anyway that's our news for the week!

Stitches Round 4

So I woke up this morning and I thought it might be fun to see what it felt like to cut my pinky off. I figured I hadn't had stitches in a while and thought it might be fun. haha jk.

Actually it's really quite lame I woke up and I was putting my mouth guard back in the toothbrush holder and as I went to turn around to get in the shower I knocked our rinse cup into the sink and when I reached out to catch it it broke before I got therebut my movement was already to fast and the cup instead of shattering broke into two perfect halves and I just about chopped my pinky off. The pictures aren't for the feint of heart so look cautiously I'll start with the least greusome ones first so if you want to see the after pictures you can without being grossed out.

ON WITH THE SHOW!!! (at 5:30 AM no less)

Blood Pressure was a bit high 139/86

5:45 ugh this is to early for an injury!

Beautiful Stitches I see four there but I think there might be one more so 5 Total!

All done!

Careful here's the gross one!!

Still makes me nautious to look at it!! (I hate blood!)
