Lights in the S.L.C.

I think this is becoming a tradition. We ride the frontrunner, walk around temple square to look at the lights, eat dinner at the Lion House, walk by the other lights we didn't see, then head home. This year it wasn't FREEEEZING! I think last year we picked to coldest day of the year. Thankgoodness it was only sprinkling this time around. Made for a nice family outing. Unfortunately we had all been super sick in bed the day before and took the chance of making it thru the lights. We had been planning to go on this specific day for sometime and didn't want to break our plans. On the upside, my brother, sister in-law, and their 4 kids came with us this year! Along with some of our besties Jeff and Kiera. It was still fun even with being sick.

Sorry Jeff and Kiera, we didn't get any pics of you! Maybe it's cause you kept running off from us. Don't worry, there is always next year. Thanks Scott and Darla for coming with us and braving it with 4 kids! I'm so thankful that we are able to make this a tradition. I love the feeling that I get as I walk around the temple grounds and look at all the beauty. Until next year!

Just wondering...

I blog stalk. Yes, I'm telling the truth. I'm sure 90% of bloggers do. Now what I'm getting to is, How many stalkers does my family have? Not that I want to be the popular one around because honestly I don't care. One time we had this creepster leave a comment who lived in iraq! Seriously! Freaked me out I'm sure I peed myself. Kyle immedietly changed most of our settings without going private. Anyway, just my curiosity coming out. Just checking to see if I need to make my blog cooler and write about more interesting stuff.Leave me a comment, and maybe I'll start blog stalking you too so it wont be so awkward :) Ok on to something that really matters in life(kinda)

Miss B has been super sick this week. Infact we made our first trip to the hospital with her.(she was happy and content despite the circumtances. She even stayed the bed almost the entire time we were in the er).Kinda scary, but better to be safe then sorry. Lucky she was fine and the doctor gave us medicine to help us too because we were for certain going to get what she has. Well the next day HEELLLOOO! it hit us! and we were in bed as a family on wed. NO F.U.N! I'll take it as bonding. So hopefully within the next couple of days she will get feeling better. It's hard to do stuff around the house when she is wanting you to hold her every second or whining at your ankles for something we can't really understand. I am loving it. Not so much the whining but the holding part. She always wants daddy, so mommy gets put in the dust. I've loved watching the same 5 Go Diego Go episodes on DVR the past few days, not getting ready and lying in bed with my munchkin, cuddling and rubbing her head, playing with some cute little piggies, and just having my little princess by my side. I love being her mom and couldn't be more thankful that she is ours. Get better baby!

Just for Laughs

Seriously, if this little girl doesn't put a smile on your face then you have no heart! Enjoy!

Seriously, this picture makes me laugh! She put the shower cap on all by herself because its a "hat" and stood in the mirror. I say this all the time but this little girl puts a smile on my face more than 100 times a day. She is hillarious and just a character!

They say it's your Birthday!

This year we decided not to have a huge party for Miss B's birthday. And it sure wasn't! We were just having the grandma's and grandpa's. Well my mom was sick, my step-dad out of town, so the only guests were my dad, his wife, Kyle's parents, and Emily. So needless to say it was ROCKIN'! We actually didn't mind and I'm sure Berklee didn't really care either way. She loved her presents! What little kid wouldn't though? She was trying to figure it out at the beginning but it really didn't take her long to get it. If she opened up clothes she would partially open them then throw it to the side. She only wanted the toys. Every toy she opened she wanted to play with it right then! All I can say is she made out like a bandit! Lucky little girl, you sure are loved Berklee!

We can't forget about the Diego cake! Berklee loved her cake, and yes it was hard to find Go Diego Go figurines. They only have Dora everywhere! Everything ended up turning out perfect and I'm glad our little princess was happy! Once again, We love you Berklee! Happy 2 year Birthday!

And another very important birthday... My Momma's! This beautiful lady turned 53 and certainly doesn't look it. We went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate with her. Berklee was born on my mom and step-dad's anniversary and my mom's birthday is the next day. Just a big celebration all around! My mom took a turn on the saddle, then we tried to put Miss B on. She wasn't having it at all. We had a wonderful dinner and love both of these girls with all our hearts! Happy Birthday Momma!

*2*

2 years have passed since we became parents to the most beautiful little princess. Miss B turned 2 this past sunday. I really can't believe it! She is so smart and never ceases to amaze me everyday. She copies everything you say and remembers it! I love that little girl more than she will ever know and feel so lucky to be her Mommy. Here are her stats: W-21.4 1%, L-31in 2%, H- 17.75in 4%, and BMI 15.65 28%. Just a healthy little midget!

At the age of 2 here are some of the things she is doing:
Can say so many words like-Goggie(doggie), Ego(Diego, and drags it out while singing it), Berkee(Berklee), Hi, Hello, juish(Juice), toes, sockies, shoes, Mamma(grandma), Papa(grandpa), mommy, daddy, you k?(are you ok?) bless you, nigh nigh(night night), potty, baby, Em, Mimi(mindy), auntie, a ride, Mike(kyle's friend), ball, ook(book), I pay(I play), mine, no, stinky, peeyou, boon(balloon), airpane(airplane), tee(tree),bear, durdle(turtle), dora, house, I push, happy birday, petty(pretty), cake, and many more. She learns a new word every day
She lets us know when she is poopy and tries to go potty in her potty(we're starting potty training very soon)
Daddy taught her Chinese. She squishes her face instead of pulling her eyes and says "Inese"
runs around like a crazy at times
I'll ask her if I can have a kiss and she will say " a cry" with a sad face. She wants me to cry so she can kiss me to make me feel better
She absolutely loves her daddy. More than any little girl I have every seen.
She sleeps in a big girl bed and has since she was about 18 months old
She climbs on everything! What a monkey!
Faces forward in her carseat
Loves to go on walks
Loves when Mama Bonnie reads to her. In fact she has a set of books at their house memorized. What a smartie!
Loves her Aunt Em and her boyfriend Bebub(caleb)
Loves to say hi to anyone on the phone no matter who it is(Especially Mimi)
Absolutely LOVES pop! Thanks to her daddy much to my dismay
Is one strong girl and has abs of steel
Can tell you and show you every body part
Likes to play nintendo with Daddy
We watch Go Diego Go about 10 times a day.
When a camera is out she says "CHEEEESE!"
She says "seriously" so freakin' cute!
Can point out the color pink
Hear's airplanes like no other! Seriously, I don't even hear them until she points them out
Loves Mama to sing to her. Her favorite songs are Wheels on the Bus, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam, and Popcorn Popping
There are many more things she does. I just can't name them all. She is constantly learning and I absolutely love it! I just can't express how much I love that little girl. I'm so thankful she is mine and always will be! We Love You Miss B! Happy Birthday to our Angel Princess. Love Mommy and Daddy

The day Berklee was born. Minutes after birth.

A couple weeks before her birthday. So Big!

Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! I love getting together with family and talking about everything I am thankful for and of course the food. This year (and every year) it was DELISH! Kyle's parents hosted it with the Craig side. We were missing a few people :( but we managed to still have a great time.

Setting up all the decor for the "fabulous" dinner

Once again this year I am so thankful for so many things in my life. I am so blessed everyday in more ways than one. I have a wonderful handsome husband. A beautiful healthy little girl who I get to spend everyday with. I'm thankful I only have to work 3 days a week so I get to be home with Berklee. I'm thanful Kyle is willing to work so hard to support us. I'm thankful for my house. I'm thankful for my family. My mom is the most amazing woman I've ever known and is beautiful of course! I'm thankful for my grandparents and so thankful that I had my grandpa in my life. I'm thankful for my inlaws. No one is as lucky as I am, because they don't have them as theirs. I'm thankful for my Dad and his willingness to be a loving grandpa. I'm thankful for the gospel and the church in my life. I'm sure there are more things but all I can say is my life is wonderful!
