Lights in the S.L.C.

I think this is becoming a tradition. We ride the frontrunner, walk around temple square to look at the lights, eat dinner at the Lion House, walk by the other lights we didn't see, then head home. This year it wasn't FREEEEZING! I think last year we picked to coldest day of the year. Thankgoodness it was only sprinkling this time around. Made for a nice family outing. Unfortunately we had all been super sick in bed the day before and took the chance of making it thru the lights. We had been planning to go on this specific day for sometime and didn't want to break our plans. On the upside, my brother, sister in-law, and their 4 kids came with us this year! Along with some of our besties Jeff and Kiera. It was still fun even with being sick.

Sorry Jeff and Kiera, we didn't get any pics of you! Maybe it's cause you kept running off from us. Don't worry, there is always next year. Thanks Scott and Darla for coming with us and braving it with 4 kids! I'm so thankful that we are able to make this a tradition. I love the feeling that I get as I walk around the temple grounds and look at all the beauty. Until next year!

Just wondering...

I blog stalk. Yes, I'm telling the truth. I'm sure 90% of bloggers do. Now what I'm getting to is, How many stalkers does my family have? Not that I want to be the popular one around because honestly I don't care. One time we had this creepster leave a comment who lived in iraq! Seriously! Freaked me out I'm sure I peed myself. Kyle immedietly changed most of our settings without going private. Anyway, just my curiosity coming out. Just checking to see if I need to make my blog cooler and write about more interesting stuff.Leave me a comment, and maybe I'll start blog stalking you too so it wont be so awkward :) Ok on to something that really matters in life(kinda)

Miss B has been super sick this week. Infact we made our first trip to the hospital with her.(she was happy and content despite the circumtances. She even stayed the bed almost the entire time we were in the er).Kinda scary, but better to be safe then sorry. Lucky she was fine and the doctor gave us medicine to help us too because we were for certain going to get what she has. Well the next day HEELLLOOO! it hit us! and we were in bed as a family on wed. NO F.U.N! I'll take it as bonding. So hopefully within the next couple of days she will get feeling better. It's hard to do stuff around the house when she is wanting you to hold her every second or whining at your ankles for something we can't really understand. I am loving it. Not so much the whining but the holding part. She always wants daddy, so mommy gets put in the dust. I've loved watching the same 5 Go Diego Go episodes on DVR the past few days, not getting ready and lying in bed with my munchkin, cuddling and rubbing her head, playing with some cute little piggies, and just having my little princess by my side. I love being her mom and couldn't be more thankful that she is ours. Get better baby!

Just for Laughs

Seriously, if this little girl doesn't put a smile on your face then you have no heart! Enjoy!

Seriously, this picture makes me laugh! She put the shower cap on all by herself because its a "hat" and stood in the mirror. I say this all the time but this little girl puts a smile on my face more than 100 times a day. She is hillarious and just a character!

They say it's your Birthday!

This year we decided not to have a huge party for Miss B's birthday. And it sure wasn't! We were just having the grandma's and grandpa's. Well my mom was sick, my step-dad out of town, so the only guests were my dad, his wife, Kyle's parents, and Emily. So needless to say it was ROCKIN'! We actually didn't mind and I'm sure Berklee didn't really care either way. She loved her presents! What little kid wouldn't though? She was trying to figure it out at the beginning but it really didn't take her long to get it. If she opened up clothes she would partially open them then throw it to the side. She only wanted the toys. Every toy she opened she wanted to play with it right then! All I can say is she made out like a bandit! Lucky little girl, you sure are loved Berklee!

We can't forget about the Diego cake! Berklee loved her cake, and yes it was hard to find Go Diego Go figurines. They only have Dora everywhere! Everything ended up turning out perfect and I'm glad our little princess was happy! Once again, We love you Berklee! Happy 2 year Birthday!

And another very important birthday... My Momma's! This beautiful lady turned 53 and certainly doesn't look it. We went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate with her. Berklee was born on my mom and step-dad's anniversary and my mom's birthday is the next day. Just a big celebration all around! My mom took a turn on the saddle, then we tried to put Miss B on. She wasn't having it at all. We had a wonderful dinner and love both of these girls with all our hearts! Happy Birthday Momma!
