St. George

I finally got to go to St. George! I have never been there... ever, just in passing and once Kyle and I stayed overnight after leaving late to go to Cali. My Best Friend Courtney asked me if I wanted to go with her a couple months ago because our husbands are AWESOME and were planning on going to the Starwars Concert. Anyway after a long wait for the weekend to finally come off we went! We left a little later then planned but were still excited to go! We ended up hitting construction and were only going 2.2 miles per hour! Berklee was so good the entire time driving, she slept pretty much the entire way! We pulled off in Beaver to eat lunch at Wendy's. I seriously have never had to wait that long in a Wendy's in my whole life! After lunch off we went.... but not to far because as Court and I were chatting away a hidden highway patrol decided to pull us over! We were just laughing because honestly Courtney wasn't paying attention to her speed and was just chatting away. We definately did not have one dull moment because we are both just that cool :) Eventually we got to the beautiful St. George! We stayed at the Abbey Inn ( would definately stay there again and again). Immediately we went and got pedicures! YAY!!! We called around to a few places and decided on a cute little place called Kiss & Makeup. They called a couple girls in just to do our pedicures! That is the best customer service. A plus, the girls weren't even mad that they had to come in and we super nice.

After pedicures we went shopping, what else do you do on a girls weekend? On our shopping adventures we found the fabulous resturant The Brick Oven! Can I just say DELISH!!! I've only eaten there a few time but everytime it gets me. So we got seated, ordered our stuff and waited.... I was feeding Berklee her puffies and she was eating them like mad! She kept shoving them in her mouth one right after another and all of a sudden BLEH! All over the table, floor, her. Let me remind you we are still waiting for our food, our waitress comes by and see's that I'm cleaning up throw up so she sends a guy to with a rag to clean up the rest. Court and I were so tired because it was 9 pm, I had worked the night before and woke up early, Court of course had been driving so all we could do was... LAUGH! We were laughing so hard we were crying. Finally after our stomaches hurt so bad we got our food. It was too late to eat so we ended up just taking it with us and went nighty night.

The next day we woke up ate breakfast and came back to our room and took a nap. It was amazing! Berklee hadn't slept well that night so of course neither did we so a nap was definately on our agenda. After we woke up we did some more shopping. We went and ate an early dinner because we were going to go see Annie that night at Tuacan. We went to one of the best Mexican food places I have ever had. Everyone should go there in thier life times.. the name Paula's. So yummy! After that off to Tuacan!

The play was so cute and the drive to Tuacan was gorgeous! An old man sitting next to us told me how cute Berklee was then asked if she was going to cry during the play! That made me so mad! But since she is an angel she hardly even made a peep and eventually went to sleep. After the play Court and I went driving around the city. We went up to makeout point to see the city lights, the temple and just drove around. The airport is right next to the point so planes were flying right above our heads super close.

The next day we sadly had to go home, but not until we had a few more adventures. We went to Brigham Young's house, which I thought was really neat and to the wonderful In n Out Burger!

Then Bon Voyage St. George.. I will come visit again!

Weeks...

Ok so I'm really not good at this blogging thing but I do kind of enjoy doing it so some people that care can see how our lives are going. I'm going to try and do a post at least once a week to just say how things are going and tell about our AWESOME lives...

We celebrated our 4 year anniversary last week! The actual day of we went to PF Changs (so delicious). Kyle's parents watched Berklee for us so we could have some what of a romantic evening. The next day Kyle had made reservations to stay at the Anniversary Inn in Logan. Here's the story... Kyle wanted to make our anniversary special, which he does every year, but this year he just wanted to get away since we have Berklee now. Well one day he asked me a question about our bank account so I got on it and saw the Anniversary Inn on there. I asked him what it was and WRECKED the surprise! I know, I'm horrible. At least I didn't know which room, so that made the surprise really fun. Anyway, Kyle had to work that morning so I got to spend time with Berklee and get everything ready. I took Berklee to Kyle's parents so they could watch her overnight, came back home and Kyle and I left on our adventure!

We stayed in the Jessie James Hideout room. It was really neat! Out of all the rooms I never would have guessed that was the one that Kyle picked out... He liked it because he loves the outdoors and it really felt like we were in a hideout.

That night we went to a DELICIOUS resturaunt call Cafe Sabor. We splurged and got us a treat..

We just spent a romantic night in our room and enjoyed being together :) Kyle, I love you so much! Thank you for everything you do for Berklee and I.
The next morning we got breakfast brought to our room,

It was so yummy! It was so fun to get away and spend time. I can't wait to be able to do it again soon! Thanks again Dave and Bonnie for watching Princess Berklee! Although we enjoyed each other, I could't wait to get back to my little Munchkin.. I missed her like CRAZY! We are so blessed to have each other and her in our lives. Another update soon... Peace out!
