California Vacation

Soooo... we have had a whirlwind of a summer. I feel like we've been so busy with who knows what that our blog has been neglected. So here is our California Trip in pictures. Not in a specific order and some are sideways so just turn your computer screen. Here is a little recap...
The day we left was Kyle's birthday. So in awesome birthday style we got up super early and headed on vacation! The birthday boy's request was In and Out, so we made a quick stop in Vegas. We made it to California in good time so we still had the day to do stuff. We stopped to get our Disneyland tickets so we wouldn't have to wait in line the day we went. I wanted Kyle's birthday to be a little special so we went to the Olive Garden after driving around to find the "special" birthday place. After dinner we headed to Downtown Disney to start our experience! The magic that Disney brings is absolutely amazing.
On Sunday we decided to do more sabbath like things so we toured Hollywood. I was so excited because this kind of thing is right up my alley. I know all the dumb facts about celebrites, so I was excited to go see the stars, Kodak theatre, and seeing the handprints and foot prints. Emily and Kyle were kind of bums about the whole thing and were just zooming past. The only star Kyle wanted to see was The Beatles. Once we did he was one happy camper. Miara and I on the other hand were so excited to see all the different ones and knew that those people have stood by their stars and of course cemented their hands and feet. My request was to go and find the Playboy Mansion. I loved watching the Girls Next Door(I'm a reality show junkie), so I've grown fond of Hugh Hefner. I only wish we were able to push the button and talk to him :)
The next day we woke up bright and early to head to Disneyland for a day full of fun! It was so fun to see Berklee's reaction to everything. Her favorite things were the Buzz Lightyear ride, The Little Mermaid, and of course World of Color. If I could have froze us in a moment forever it would have been watching World of Color because Berklee's face was priceless. It almost brought me to tears knowing that she loved it so much.
On thurday we headed to Huntington Beach for the day. We had tickets for Mideval Times in the evening and we were all excited to go. We relaxed on the beach, played in the water, but only barely because the water was freezing and it was only 70 degrees outside. After catching some rays, collecting sea shells, a walk along the pier we finally headed out to go enjoy our dinner and watch a fun show. We were representing the Red Knight and Berklee couldn't have been more excited. During the show if the Knights win the games that are going on they get roses. Our knight won and gave his rose to Emily. In the middle of the show they sash a Queen of the Night and Miss B was the lucky gal. She was so excited and couldn't stop talking about her red knight. The food was delicious and the show was awesome! Definetly worth the money.
We were trying to make the trip a little cheaper so we stayed with Kyle's aunt and uncle for a couple of days. Julee was able to take a day off and spend it with us, so we went shopping all day and had a mini fiesta with Kyle's favorite mexican resturaunt in California.. Cucas.
We decided to go to the beach again since we don't have any in Utah. Once again we just relaxed and enjoyed our vacation :)
It was so fun to get away and to have some awesome family time. I can't wait for our next family vacation!
